The St Vincent’s Centre for Nursing Research (SVCNR) is a collaborative centre between St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne and the Australian Catholic University. The Centre aims to develop better health outcomes through the examination of models of care. SVCNR has a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and advocates for evidence-based practice.

The Centre is physically located in the VECCI Building, Level 4, 486 Albert St, East Melbourne.

Vision

  • Conduct clinical nursing research
  • Provide higher education and career paths for nursing and other allied health professionals
  • Educate the public and develop better health care initiatives for the prevention and treatment of disease management such as cardiovascular disease.
